Now in the third week of this term class members are all back into the routine of the art club and many are working towards our annual exhibition in March.
On Thursday evening this week, 23rd January, 7-9 pm, Wayne Galloway, one of our pottery tutors, is demonstrating 'How to produce a smooth pot'.
Then on Sunday 26th January, 1-4pm, Peter Russell, a Stirling based artist, will lead a workshop, 'Collage with Printing'.
The following Sunday, 2nd February, 2-4pm Chi Zhang will demonstrate his skills in Chinese Brush Painting. This demo is relevant to both painting and pottery members. Some of his work has been projected on to Edinburgh Castle during a military tattoo at the Edinburgh Festival.
While most classes are full, including the children's class, there are a few places left in the Monday morning printing class, 10-12 noon and in the Wednesday evening class, 7-9pm.
