Painting classes at Kirkcaldy Art Club

Are you looking for a creative outlet? Would you like to learn some drawing and painting skills in a friendly and welcoming environment?

Isha Harris currently runs classes on Monday evening (7-9pm), Tuesday afternoon (1-3 pm) and Tuesday evening (7-9pm). These classes are ideal for both beginners and more experienced artists.

The classes cover a wide variety of mediums and techniques aimed at helping improve your skills and possibly learn some new ones. For those with a bit more experience, Isha is glad to offer support on personal projects. She can offer a fresh perspective, build confidence, or even inspire you to try something new. The classes are aimed at being informal, accessible, encouraging, and fun.

The sessions will begin with a focus on observation and drawing skills. We will then look to build these pieces into various forms of artwork, including painting, collage, and printmaking.

There are supplies of various materials at the art club but individuals are encouraged to bring their own materials along if there are specific things they like to use.

Classes take place at the Club in Hot Pot Wynd, Dysart, KY1 2TQ.

To attend a class you should join Kirkcaldy Art Club (membership fee is £50pa) and tuition fees for two 10-week terms is £115.

If you are interested please email  kirkcaldyartclub@outlook.com  stating which class you'd like to attend.
