Last weekend, over Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November, several art club members had an arty weekend, visiting and participating in 'The Handmade Show' in Perth and at Pittenweem, North East Neuk 'Winter Showcase'. It gave us an opportunity to see other peoples' work and to talk to many artists.
This week is now the last week of term for most classes. The craft group have been very busy preparing for the Christmas Art and Craft Fair which takes place this coming weekend, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November, 11 am - 4 pm, at Hot Pot Wynd in Dysart.
On Friday the upstairs painting studio will be transformed into an exhibition area for ceramics, paintings, glass, jewellery, cards, notebooks and many other craft items, all handmade by art club members. This provides an opportunity to visit the art club and to see what we do, and to see what is on offer, perhaps the perfect Christmas gift for someone special, or a lovely piece of jewellery, a piece of pottery or a painting for yourself. Tea, coffee and home baking will also be on offer.
