Not long until enrolment

Last week, on Sunday 3rd August, Kirkcaldy Art Club took part in Dysart Festival. We had an exhibition of members' work, and also tea, coffee and cakes on offer. It was a beautiful day and, from 11am, people were out and about in Dysart, including a minibus full of German Outlander fans. Many came in to view our exhibition and have a chat. Several showed interested in joining the art club and took away the relevant information.

Our next important event at Kirkcaldy Art Club will be enrolment for the next session. This takes place on Monday, 2nd September, 2-3pm and 7-8pm, enrolment for the children's class is 4-5pm, then on Tuesday 3rd September, 7-8pm. So, for anyone interested in joining, there are some spaces in all classes in painting and pottery. We welcome people returning to pottery and painting, and also complete beginners. Our classes are all tutored.

Early in the summer term we held a printing class. This was very successful with participants asking if such a class could be provided in our programme of classes. So, we are hoping to do so and will be planning to introduce this in September.

You can find out more about classes at Kirkcaldy Art Club on our website kirkcaldyartclub.co.uk/classes, on our Facebook page and from Morag Allan on morag233allan@btinternet.com and 01592 267641.
