Just reminding club members that this coming Sunday, 27th January, 2-4 pm, Daniel Scottow is coming to Kirkcaldy Art Club to do a demonstration for us - 'Dramatic Seas, Skies and Silhouettes'. This will be done using acrylics. Daniel is an artist living in Cellardyke and enjoys painting the landscapes and seascapes around him. This demo is free to all members.
On Sunday February 10th, 1-4 pm, Dorothy Black will lead a workshop in painting ' Big Flowers'. To produce them she uses oil, charcoal and liquid acrylics, a mixed media approach to provide line, colour and texture. The fee for this workshop is £12 and members can sign up for this at the art club. Our new tutors in pottery and painting classes are settling in and getting to know all the people in their classes. New members, too, are getting to know people and finding out more about the art club, and what it has to offer, every week. Our new children's class has started and we look forward to see how they are getting on, exploring using charcoal, pastels, paint, etc - our artists of the future.
