Kirkcaldy Art Club welcomes all members back to classes from Monday14th January, and also Rosalind Crawford to tutor the Tuesday afternoon painting class, Simon Ward to tutor the Monday evening and Wednesday afternoon pottery classes, and Hazel McLeod to tutor the new children's class, Hot Pot Kids Art, which will take place on Mondays 5pm - 6pm. In addition to classes our first event this term is a visiting artist, Daniel Scottow, who will demonstrate his skills and techniques in using acrylics to paint 'Dramatic Seas and Skies'. This will take place on Sunday 27th January, 2-4pm. Demonstrations are free to all members and provide additional varied suggestions in addition to tuition already in place in classes. If anyone is interested in trying out painting, or returning to painting after a break, just contact us through our website, kirkcaldyartclub.co.uk or on our Facebook page, also by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or, if you have any questions about classes or what is on offer just phone Morag Allan on 01592 267641. There are no spaces at the moment in the pottery classes but there some spaces in painting classes, and there are two spaces left in our children's class. You can also be a member without joining a painting class. This provides opportunities to attend demonstrations by visiting artists, to sign up for workshops led by visiting artists, or to come along on Wednesday morning to the untutored Craft Group, 10 -12 noon, or to come along on a Wednesday afternoon, 2-4 pm, to take part in an untutored painting session.
