A busy weekend is ahead of us this coming weekend. We are finishing our first term with our Christmas Art and Craft Fair, on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November, 11 am- 4 pm. On offer will be a wide range of handmade items, including paintings, pottery, cards, notebooks, jewellery,glass and many other craft items. There will also be tea, coffee and soft drinks available with home baking. This is a great opportunity to find that unique Christmas gift for someone special. Also on Saturday afternoon some members are providing art activities for children at Templehall Library, a second event for Fun Palaces. They will be making things for Christmas involving clay, paint, collage and beads, lots of fun. Kirkcaldy Art Club is now intending to offer a children's art class in early 2019 for Primary aged children. The 'Hot Pot Kids Art' will run for 10 weeks on a Monday evening at 5pm - 6pm, starting on Monday 15th January until Monday 18th March. Cost for the ten weeks is £60. The class will be tutored by Hazel Mcleod. There are 10 places available and enrolment will take place on Monday 10th December at 5pm in Kirkcaldy Art Club's premises in Hot Pot Wynd, Dysart, KY1 2TQ. Should more than 10 children wish to join, a waiting list will be made for the next session which we hope to hold after Easter.
