This month we welcome Susan Forsyth and Malcolm Barton

Three weeks into the term and all five painting and four pottery class members have settled into their routine and are progressing well. Some new people have joined this week so, if anyone is interested it is not too late to join. Just refer to the links below. This month Susan Forsyth is returning to lead a workshop, 'Painting with oils, using a palette knife'. This is suitable for both experienced members and beginners. This will take place on Sunday 21st October, 1-4 pm. Also this month, Burntisland based artist, Malcolm Barton, will demonstrate how he 'Paints in pastel', by working with pastels on an acrylic base. This is on Thursday 25th October, 7.30-9.30, and is free to all members. Come along to pick up hints on how to use pastels, and also meet more art club members from other classes in Kirkcaldy Art Club. This Saturday afternoon, 6th October, some art club members are providing art activities for children aged 5-11 in the Adam Smith Centre. This is organised by the library service to celebrate 'Fun Palaces'. Check out the 'On at Fife' website for more information. This was a great success last year and , once again, we are doing two sessions on Saturday afternoon and another one in November at Templehall Library.
