New members are settling into their classes, getting to know more people and finding out more about the art club and what it offers, beyond the class they are in. The first workshop of this term is ‘Painting with oils, using a palette knife’. This is a repeat of Susan Forsyth’s previous workshop last session. It was so popular that not everyone got a place. This will take place on Sunday 21st October 1 – 4pm. Then on Thursday 25th October, 7.30 – 9.30pm Burntisland based artist Malcolm Barton will demonstrate his skills and techniques in ‘Painting with Pastels’. Malcolm has exhibited in both the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art. We look forward to his demo at our art club. It is going to be a busy term. There are still a few places in classes. It is not too late to join.
