All painting and pottery classes began this week, and also the craft group and the untutored painting session. Previous members are now back to their routine and many new members are meeting new people in their classes and beginning to find their way around the art club. In addition to classes there is a planned programme of demonstrations and workshops, led by visiting artists. This extends the programme provided by our tutors and includes watercolour, acrylics, oil, mixed media and life drawing for painters and there is a similar programme for pottery members. It also offers an opportunity to meet members from other classes. Demonstrations are free to all members but there is a fee for workshops to cover costs.
