This is now Week 5 of our Summer School classes. Pottery members are working towards finishing items, ready for glazing and firing. The Tuesday afternoon class members are working on paintings, developed from their sketches / drawings from different locations. Untutored painting is still continuing on Wednesday afternoons, and also the craft group on Wednesday mornings. Next week, on Saturday 26th May, Irene Thomson will lead 'Painting at Pittenweem', starting from 10 am at Pittenweem. This is an 'outdoor' or 'en plein air' class so we are hoping for good weather. There are still two places in this class and the fee is £8. Later, in June, Tuesday and Wednesday, 12th and 13th June, local artist, Bill Bruce will lead 'Art at the Harbour', sketching and painting around Dysart Harbour, ie Pan Ha' houses, the Harbourmaster's House, the beach, the pier and the boats in the harbour - plenty of choice. Should the weather be not so good the class will continue an the art club in Hot Pot Wynd. This class is on from 10 am until 3 pm and the fee for each class is £8. People can do either day , or both.
