Good News !! Our annual exhibition is now open. The opening had been delayed as Kirkcaldy Galleries had been closed due to bad weather and this had affected the set up of the exhibition. For those who still intend to visit the exhibition it is in the activity room, beyond the cafe. On Saturday some of our members were demonstrating their skills in acrylics and watercolour, and next weekend other members will also be demonstrating while there. Meanwhile. Jenny Rae's workshop, which had been cancelled due to snowy weather, will now take place on Sunday 25th March, 1-4 pm. Susan Forsyth's workshop had to be cancelled for other reasons but will be rescheduled for a date in the new session. This coming weekend Saturday and Sunday, 17th and 18th, March, 11am-4pm Hot Pot Wynd will be a busy place as Kirkcaldy Art Club is hosting its annual Open Weekend. Come along and see what we do. There will be a display of paintings, ceramics, glass, jewellery, cards and other craft items. In the pottery there will be arty activities for children and in the painting studio there will be tea, coffee and home baking on offer. For anyone interested in finding out about classes, and what is available at the art club there will be many people around to chat to about this. We also have summer term classes which are open to non members, so they are like 'taster sessions' for people who would like to try out some arty experiences.
