On Saturday 3rd March 2018 Kirkcaldy Art Club's Annual Exhibition begins within Kirkcaldy Galleries. On display will be paintings, both framed and unframed, ceramics, glass, jewellery, cards and more, providing an overview of work done by our talented members. This exhibition will continue until Wednesday 21st March. Meanwhile on Sunday 4th March, 1-4 pm, at Hot Pot Wynd, Dysart, Jenny Rae will once again lead her workshop 'Garden Gargoyle Planters'. This workshop was so successful it had to be repeated for those who didnt get a place previously. On the following weekend, Sunday 11th March, 1-4 pm, Susan Forsyth, too, will repeat her previous workshop, 'Painting a seascape with oils and a palette knife'. This too had been very successful and so many people had wanted a space. Later in March, on Saturday and Sunday, 17th and 18th March, 11 am-4 pm, Kirkcaldy Art Club is hosting its annual Open Weekend. Once again examples of our work will be on display - paintings, ceramics, glass, jewellery, cards and many other craft items. There will also be art/craft activities for children, as well as coffee, tea and home baking - something for everyone. As this term is approaching the end plans are currently being made for 'summer school classes', which take place in the summer term - mid April onwards. Spaces in these classes can be used by non members, ie as taster sessions. These classes will be advertised on our website and Facebook page.
