May Snaddon

May was born and brought up in Fife but lived and worked in and around Edinburgh for a number of years after graduating in Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art. She returned to Fife in 2013 and feels very much at home here again.

Living and working here again has also reawakened interest in the local land and seascapes.

She works in a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics and watercolour. If there was ever a Desert Island Paint Equipment programme, she would though. chose oils as they are her favourite medium.

Inspiration for her paintings comes from many sources but she particularly enjoys working outdoors.

Recent exhibitions include Edinburgh Art Fair 2010 to 2016 for Hanover Fine Arts and The Laurel Gallery Christmas Exhibition 2016
