Sunday 23rd March 10.30am to 13.30pm Join Jen Black, a self taught textile artist, in this 3 hour creative workshop. Jen makes 3 D creatures and characters from pre- loved clothing, and her work is not only playful and light-hearted, but often useful too. She will give you an introduction to her world of recycling, and explore with you the possibilities of creating something both characterful and fun from old fabric and recycled materials. You will have the opportunity to plan, design, and make your very own creature from various materials available. Maybe bring an old piece of your own clothing to make something personal and meaningful for yourself. Items you will need to bring along:- many items will already be available at the club. Glue gun Tweezers Small pliers Recycled materials Pens Crafting tools if you have any.
