This painting workshop will be delivered by a tutor who works in vibrant colour, and uses expressive painting techniques. The aim is to develop your skills in compositional techniques, colour mixing, and paint application. This will be a fun workshop giving you the opportunity to try out some new approaches and enjoy experimenting with colour mixing. You will use a still life centre piece to work from and focus on how to achieve interesting and unusual compositions in your artwork. You will explore colour mixing and paint application techniques including blocking in, colour, and building up layers. The tutor will provide demonstrations and individual tuition throughout the workshop. What to bring along….. Paper, board, or canvas. Acrylic paint. ( we have some in studio for your use) Camera( phone) to use for compositions.
