Kirkcaldy Art Club is back with classes

Classes started back 20th September. Even if a class has started, you can still join at any time where spaces are available. We have adult classes (from age 18) in painting, pottery and printing.

To join in with classes at Kirkcaldy Art Club you must be a member.

Membership fee is £48 (£40 concession, age 60+).
Classes start September with a 10 week block.

We have a Christmas break, and then start back January for another 10 weeks.

For the 20 weeks of classes fees are £83.50.

All tools and equipment are provided in the pottery.

There is an additional charge for clay.

This covers the cost of glazes and firing.

Paper and ink are available to start you off, there is a charge for soft lino.

You can become a member only.

This means you can join in with our exhibitions and join in with workshops & demonstrations that we also hope to bring back. None have been confirmed so far though because of Covid.
If you would like to become a member only, please email and we will give you information on how to pay.


In addition to the classes below we also have an active craft group that meets every Wednesday 10am-12noon.

Wednesday 2-4pm the studio upstairs is reserved for untutored painting.

You can join the craft group and untutored studio times only if you are a member.

We are following Covid guidance and the committee is working with a full risk assessment. Which you can read here. Classes will be held at our usual capacity. Which means 12 in the pottery classes and 14 in painting classes.


We request that those wishing to join classes or come to the building to follow the rules as and by joining Kirkcaldy Art Club you agree to these rules:

• Please sanitise your hands when entering the building.

• Wear a face mask at all times, particularly when moving about and when directly speaking to another person (ie tutor). 

• Only one person at a time at the sink.

• For now, there will be no tea/coffee breaks and no visits to the kitchen.

• Bring your own apron.

• Clean tables after class. 

• In the pottery clean tools. If you have your own tools, you can bring them. Please be mindful though of the space around you and only bring the basics. No big toolboxes please.

• Bring your own towel (paper towels are provided)

We ask that members DO NOT come to the club if suffering from

cold, flu or covid symptoms.

Classes with spaces are below and you will be asked to agree to our Covid measures before booking. Please read them carefully.

Prices shown include Membership and Tuition.

If you are Concession for membership (age 60+) please let us know and we will refund £8.
