This is the first charity quiz that we have produced. It was carefully constructed by one of our members to be both challenging and rewarding. It comprises 100 cryptic clues on the theme of Rocks, Stones, Gems and Minerals. Every answer either IS a rock stone gem or mineral, or it CONTAINS such a word. (See some example questions below.)
Closing date is Jan 31st 2008
Prizes of £30, £20, £10
Cost £1 per copy + SAE (no smaller than 9" x 4"). Cheques payable to 'Kirkcaldy Art Club' .
The quiz is on 3 pages of A4 so bear that in mind for postage if you are requesting multiple copies.

Here are some sample clues on the same theme.
(i) It’s nothing new to gaze purposefully around this pottery. (9)
